Rapper DMX sentenced to prison yet again for violation/Celeb Rehab?

PHOENIX - Rapper DMX was sentenced Tuesday in a Phoenix courtroom after he was arrested for testing positive for drugs and violating his probation.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was recently arrested on five counts of violating his probation.

The probation officer alleges DMX violated terms of his probation by using cocaine and not completing required treatment. He apparently failed a June 2009 drug test.

The arrest was just the latest in a string of arrests for theft, drug possession, and animal cruelty.

DMX was sentenced to 20 months intensive probation with six months in jail, beginning March 16.

Defense attorney Glen Allen argued for rehab, saying, "If we never address the serious substance abuse issues that he has, this is an individual that we are going to see again in the wrong places. And we don't want to see him back before Your Honor ever again."

He may be released early if he's accepted into an inpatient substance abuse program. The judge is reportedly open to sending DMX to a California treatment facility where Celebrity Rehab is taped, if he is accepted. Otherwise, DMX may undergo the Sheriff's substance abuse treatment at the 4th Ave Jail.

I really hope he can overcome his demons...I was a fan once

WATCH YOUR FRIENDS !

WASHINGTON — The Feds are on Facebook. And MySpace, LinkedIn and Twitter, too.
U.S. law enforcement agents are following the rest of the Internet world into popular social-networking services, going undercover with false online profiles to communicate with suspects and gather private information, according to an internal Justice Department document that offers a tantalizing glimpse of issues related to privacy and crime-fighting.

Think you know who's behind that “friend” request? Think again. Your new “friend” just might be the FBI.

The document, obtained in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, makes clear that U.S. agents are already logging on surreptitiously to exchange messages with suspects, identify a target's friends or relatives and browse private information such as postings, personal photographs and video clips.

Among other purposes: Investigators can check suspects' alibis by comparing stories told to police with tweets sent at the same time about their whereabouts. Online photos from a suspicious spending spree — people posing with jewelry, guns or fancy cars — can link suspects or their friends to robberies or burglaries...

So be warned ! Be careful trying to add people you dont know..*sidenote* Alot of you guilty of that*

Ludacris tops the Billboards

According to Billboard’s Hot 100 list, Ludacris has secured his fifth number one hit with a little help from London singer/songwriter Tao Cruz on their collaboration “Break Your Heart.”

The feat puts Luda as the first and only rapper to reach the mark in Billboard history. Mr. Bridges snatched his first number one single with the Kanye West-produced “Stand Up” from his third solo project “Chicken-n-Beer” back in 2003.

In 2004, Luda scored another number one single with Usher’s “Yeah.” Two years later, he topped the charts with “Money Maker,” a collaboration featuring The Neptunes’ Pharrell Williams. The following year, he appeared on Fergie’s “Glamorus Life,” which also reached no.1.

Ludacris’s "Battle of the Sexes" LP is in stores now.
